Children's Long Day Care Centre with Farmyard Animals
Educational Children's Service is a unique multi award winning pre-school and long day care service with a difference. Children from six weeks to six years receive daily nurturing and "age appropriate" education in a beautifully maintained and purpose built spacious facility situated on three acres with an animal farmyard situated between Gosford and Wyong at Fountaindale in the NSW Central Coast region.
The Directors and Staff of Follyfoot Farm Educational Children's Service are committed to the belief that children need a wholesome, healthy and peaceful environment in which to learn and grow.
The special on-site children's farmyard nursery is incorporated into the facility's every day routine. This gives children the opportunity to develop skills and attitudes of compassion, caring and nurturing. They experience the pleasure, peace and `at ease' feeling associated with the petting, feeding and nurturing of our rabbits, lambs, calves, ducks, goats and chickens.
Follyfoot Farm was established in 1996 and is fully licensed with the Department of Community Services for children between the ages of six weeks and six years. Follyfoot Farm enjoys full accreditation through the National Childcare Accreditation Council.
The centre maintains incredibly high standards in all departments of its activities. Staff to child ratios well exceed the minimum levels laid down by Government.
