Essential Birth Consulting was born after working with many women who were disappointed by their birth. Some told me, My doctor said I can't, The hospital won't allow, and so on. I discovered that what women really need is professional advice and advocacy to show them a way forward.
I'm a midwife with a decade of experience. I have contracted to over 20 hospitals, have an MBA and senior health management experience. My passion is helping women achieve a great birth.
As more women have become aware of this specialised service, they have gained insight, confidence and clarity. You will too.
While I am not in the business of waving a magic wand, my service often helps to make magic happen! You will find the service friendly, warm, understanding and professional. There is no judgment, only support.
Services include home or hospital birth, birth debriefing, childbirth education, preconception care, pregnancy and birth options, birth plans, advocacy and second opinions.
