As a Midwife turned Photographer I have the wonderful opportunity to combine my two passions. Witnessing a woman embrace her womanhood and welcome new life into this wonderful world of ours while holding my camera, capturing this miracle unfold, is an incredible honour for me.

I strive to capture the essence of womanhood and the miracle of new life in day to day moments. I come to you so that you can enjoy the comfort and privacy of your own home or we can head out into the beauty of nature to a destination of your choice. I believe this is where you feel most comfortable therefore this is where we will capture the most stunning photographs.

My photographs are simple and classic. I love black and white images with minimal props so that the subjects convey all that needs to be said. I approach my photography naturally. I believe that the most beautiful moments captured aren't necessarily posed and constructed but are candid, tender moments.

I am currently working on an exhibition and a book on homebirth called "In Awe of Woman". If you are planning a homebirth and would love to be an integral part of changing the cultural norm of where we birth I would love to hear from you.
