The philosophy at Expressive Soul is that everyone can dance. We see dance as something innate within each person and our approach focuses upon sharing the simple joy of movement by connecting to the body, then discovering, exploring and expressing the soul.
Kids and Teens Classes are based on creative dance and are process centred, rather than performance orientated, so there are no steps to learn. Kids have the chance to develop skills, release stress, explore, create, express and have fun through structured movement activities, freeform expression & dance play. As they discover new and fantastic ways to move, their self esteem, creativity, strength, flexibility and self awareness will increase. Classes for Kids 5+
Adults Classes are a mind/body wellness experience. They are a moving meditation in a softly lit space to a great music, classical,funk & global beats. A place where you can let go of the week, listen to your heart, be yourself and dance your way.
