Central Coast Childrens Directory
We are a group of parents on the NSW Central Coast that raise our children according to attachment parenting philosophy.
We are supportive of:
* full-term breastfeeding & child-led weaning
* natural birth, homebirth, lotus birth & placentophagia
* co-sleeping or "the family bed"
* babywearing (use of slings rather than prams & strollers)
* gentle discipline & guidance (especially no cry-it-out methods)
* homeschooling, natural learning & unschooling
* use of cloth nappies or elimination communication techniques
* environmentalism (in its many forms)
* natural / whole / organic & biodynamic foods
* natural remedies / health (rather than relying on pharmaceuticals)
* generally being responsive to our children's needs
We meet each Tuesday morning at Wyoming for play time & morning tea.
