Positive Parenting Program
What is the Triple P Seminar Series?
The Triple P Seminar Series is a series of 3 presentations on positive parenting for groups of parents of preadolescent children. The seminars are designed to provide a brief overview and introduction to the principles of positive parenting for any interested parent. The series comprises three two hour presentations.
Who and how can Triple P seminars help?
Any parent can attend the seminars. It is recommended for any parent that needs support to:
- Increase their competence in managing common behavioural and emotional problems and developmental issues.
- Become more confident as a parent
- Be realistic about parenting, and/or
- Reduce parenting stress associated with raising children
Parents are encouraged to attend all three seminars in order to get the most out of the program, however parents are able to attend only part of the series if they choose.

Seminar 1
The Power of Positive Parenting
Thursday 25th August
10am-12pm
Seminar 2
Raising Confident, Competent Children
Thursday 15th September
10am-12pm
Seminar 3
Raising Resilient Children
Thursday 29th September
10am-12pm
Participants will be provided with morning tea at each seminar. There are no childcare facilities on site.
Seminars are held at the Interaction Disability Services (IDS) head office in Castle Hill. On registration, participants will be provided with a location map.
Cost
This program is FREE for parents. Gold coin donations to contribute towards the cost of morning tea are appreciated.
