TRAINER Sue Buratti
Sue is a Child and Family therapist who specialises in working in a creative and experiential way to support developmental, intellectual, emotional and behavioural challenges in children and their families. Sue has 18 years experience in the early childhood industry, having moved into therapy 10 years ago and with a Masters Degree in Counselling, she has a particular interest in neurobiology and play therapy.
OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes Include:
* Understanding the impact on children at key developmental stages
* Ways to support & engage children that are developmentally sound & feel safe for the child
* Understanding the needs of children who's parents have a dual diagnosis
* Increasing confidence to help families to increase community support and networks
Workers will gain practical strategies for
working within family and community.
